eTwo combines the unique Sublime and Sublative applications for comprehensive facial rejuvenation

Sublime™ uses the el?s combination of safe and effective levels of infrared light and bi-polar radio frequency energies to remodel the deep dermal layer of the skin by stimulating new collagen growth.

Laser Vein Removal

hair removal

Targets blue facial veins, leg veins and hemangioma.

Laser vein removal has become an easy and efficient solution to a constantly growing problem. Vein disorders can now be treated using non-surgical, non-invasive technology.

The laser delivers brief light pulses through the skin’s surface, directly into the vein. The laser light is absorbed by hemoglobin (the substance that gives blood its reddish, purple color) and converted into heat. The heat stops blood flow by collapsing the walls of the vein. Once blood flow ceases, the vein will slowly be absorbed into the body, disappearing from sight.

The laser will produce a minor tingling feeling and can cause the skin to turn red. Discoloration will subside after a few days. The laser has a cooling agent in place in order to protect the outer layers of skin and minimize discomfort. If patients find the laser too painful, a local anesthetic can be used.

There are a few minor risks that can be associated with laser vein procedures.

  • insufficient removal of veins
  • slight discoloration of skin or pigment change
  • allergic reaction to anesthetic

These risks are rare, and if they do occur, are treatable. A consultation with the physician is recommended in order to gather all information prior to treatment.

Laser vein removal will result in rapid healing with minimal side effects. Immediately following the procedures, patients should try to avoid strenuous activity. Patients should also keep the treatment area moist with lotion or antibiotic cream and should avoid taking aspirin or anti-inflammatory related medications. Above all other precautions, following treatment, it is important that patients limit their exposure to the sun. The skin covering the treated area will be very susceptible to sunlight. If patients do need to go out into the sun for any reason, sun screen should be worn at all times.

Laser vein treatments aim at restricting blood flow to the unwanted veins in order to break apart the veins for absorption into the body. This will not happen immediately. It takes several weeks for veins to completely dissolve. Patients that take all the necessary precautions following their treatment can look forward to a vein disorder free life.

Laser Hyperpigmentation Treatment

Lightens agespots, sunspots and melasma. Beautiful results when combined with a skin-brightening enzyme peel. (4-6 treatments suggested)

Hyperpigmentation is a skin condition which affects many individuals. There are many causes of hyperpigmentation, including excessive sun exposure, hormonal changes and injury. There are many topical products and procedures on the market that claim to lighten the skin and reduce the uneven pigmentation caused by excessive sun exposure and chronological aging.

Dr. Chapman has developed several protocols for lightening the skin and restoring the natural luster of youth. He integrates the Gentle Max laser, eTwo laser system, enzyme/chemical peels with topical products. A series of four to six treatments is usually required to treat the areas of hyperpigmentation. Minimal downtime is assoiciated with each treatment. The results are variable and range from lightening of the damage to complete removal.

There are several products he recommends in conjunction with the treatments. Eminence Organic’s Bright Skin, which contains a natural hydroquinone alternative, lightens and brightens the skin at the cellular level by decreasing the activity of the cells which produce melanin. Dermalogica’s Chromawhite system delivers visible brightening and improved skin tone while improving skin health without damaging or prematurely aging the skin due to harsh chemicals. A Natural Difference’s Brightening masque, used in our brightening facial, illuminates the skin with Tyrosine inhibitors by slowing down the production of melanin. This masque encourages a gradual lightening of hyperpigmentation, age spots, and freckles. The ultimate treatment includes the daily use of Retinoxyl Elixir, EGF (epidermal growth factor) Select and Cellular Repair Concentrate with Vitamin C+. These serums penetrate deep into the skin to promote healthy skin cell production free of hyperpigmentation.

What does the Alex TriVantage treatment feel like?

During your first visit, your skin’s reaction to the laser will be tested to determine the most effective treatment. Laser energy is delivered through a small handpiece. The Alex TriVantage is less painful than other treatment options. The degree of discomfort varies with each person, depending on his or her pain threshold. Most patients do not require pain management. In some cases, depending on the nature and location of the tattoo or spot, your practitioner may elect to some form of topical anesthetic.

What precautions should I take throughout this process?

Immediately following treatment, cold or cool compresses may be applied to soothe the treated area. A topical antibiotic ointment may be recommended. In the first few days, take care to avoid scrubbing the area or using abrasive skin cleansers. A non-stick dressing may help prevent abrasion, and sun block that has been approved by your practitioner may also be recommended.

How many Alex TriVantage treatments will I require?

The effectiveness of the laser depends on the age, location, depth and type of tattoo or spot, as well as the composition of the spot. Smaller tattoos and spots will require fewer laser pulses, while larger ones will require more. All tattoos will require additional treatments for optimal results.

Are Alex TriVantage treatments safe, and are there any side effects?

Alex TriVantage treatments selectively treat the tattoo or spot while leaving surrounding skin undamaged, making it safer than non-laser options. After treatments, patients will experience temporary discoloration or reddening of the skin around the treatment site. Some patients may also experience a temporary lightening or darkening of the skin for a few months following treatment. The skin will typically resolve to normal pigmentation color. It is important to follow your practitioner’s recommendations for proper post-treatment skin care.

Are Alex TriVantage treatments covered by insurance?

Most insurance companies do not offer reimbursement for cosmetic procedures such as tattoo removal. Please consult your insurance carrier for details.

How much is Laser Tattoo Removal?

Multiple treatments required. Price is determined at consultation. Results will vary.
